Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, and to produce reports supporting business needs. This role focuses on encounter data and requires strong SQL skills and healthcare domain understanding.

The position drives data-driven decisions, collaboration across teams, and ongoing system enhancements. A Bachelor's degree and 40 hours weekly commitment are expected.

Qualifications

1+ years of programming or analytical experience with SQL.
Experience with data warehouses and large multi-source data sets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Write SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data analysis.
Identify and implement system enhancements to support strategic goals.
Develop and execute test scripts, report outcomes or defects.
Interpret results from queries; perform root cause analysis and deliver solutions.
Manage multiple projects and track results across teams.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
