Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, conduct root cause analysis, and create reports to support business needs. This role focuses on encounter data and requires strong SQL skills and data warehouse experience.

The position involves defining system enhancements, writing queries, and collaborating with stakeholders across teams to drive data-driven improvements in healthcare processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience. Including development and experience with writing complex queries using SQL.
• Experience in a data warehouse environment and ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information to various audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
• Claims/Encounters experience. (Healthcare Industry experience)

Responsibilities

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports on both an ad hoc and production basis for analysis of data trends or anomalies impacting business success.
• Proactively define, identify, develop, and implement system enhancements or modifications to support business strategic goals.
• Assist and participate in the development and prioritization of system updates. Executes test scripts and reports outcomes or defects.
• Candidate must be proficient in SQL, able to write and modify queries, interpret results, conduct root cause analysis, develop short- and long-term solutions following through to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects forward simultaneously and be responsible for the results.
• Ability to establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
