Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data, conduct root cause analysis, and create reports for encounters data. You will write SQL queries, support system enhancements, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1+ years of analytical experience, and healthcare claims/encounter knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience, including writing complex SQL queries.
• Data warehouse experience and ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to present to varied audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills across teams.
• Claims/Encounters experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data analysis.
• Identify system enhancements to support strategic goals.
• Develop and prioritize system updates; execute test scripts and report results.
• Write/modify queries, interpret results, perform root cause analysis, implement solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver results.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
