Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, perform root cause analysis, and create reports to support business needs. You will handle varied claim and encounter data, write SQL queries, and contribute to system enhancements.

The role requires 1+ year of analytical experience, data warehouse exposure, strong communication, and collaboration skills, with healthcare encounter experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience.
• Experience in working in a data warehouse environment with large data sets from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information to varied audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
• Claims/Encounters experience (Healthcare Industry experience).

Responsibilities

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data analysis.
• Proactively identify and implement system enhancements to support business goals.
• Assist in development and prioritization of system updates; execute test scripts and report outcomes.
• Write and modify queries; interpret results and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage multiple projects and drive results across teams.
• Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
