Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data, perform root cause analysis, and create reports to support healthcare operations. You will work with encounter data, design queries, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with data warehouses, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders across teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of programming or analytical experience; includes developing and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in a data warehouse environment and working with large data sets from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to various audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills across teams.
• Healthcare experience with Claims/Encounters.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data trend analysis.
• Define, develop, and implement system enhancements to support strategic goals.
• Develop and prioritize system updates; execute test scripts and report results.
• Write/modify queries, interpret results, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Manage multiple projects and be responsible for the outcomes.
• Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
