Job summary

J&T is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager for its Seymour, CT EMS/PCBA facility. You will lead high‑mix manufacturing, drive capacity planning, and ensure operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

The role combines EMS domain expertise with Lean deployment, leading Tiered management and continuous improvement to deliver margin growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (EE, OM, or Manufacturing Eng) is required.
• 8–10 years of progressive operational and engineering leadership in EMS/PCBA.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred; strong cost control.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑mix, low‑to‑medium volume EMS manufacturing operations, ensuring SQDCP targets.
• Oversee production planning, master scheduling, and OEE improvement initiatives.
• Drive Lean enterprise tools (VSM, 5S, Kaizen) and implement tiered shop-floor management.
• Manage CapEx for SMT lines and automated systems with ROI justification.
• Collaborate with engineering on DFM/ DFA and NPI ramp for robust manufacturability.
