Job summary

J&T seeks an Operations Manager for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS/PCBA) in Seymour, CT. This leader will direct plant manufacturing and warehouse operations, drive SQDCP results, and champion Lean practices in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will mentor supervisors, balance labor, and coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to achieve on-time delivery and continuous improvement, with a clear path toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years manufacturing leadership in EMS/contract manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred; knowledge of 5S, Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production supervisors and frontline personnel across PCBA operations.
• Drive SQDCP metrics and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead daily stand-ups and gemba reviews to resolve bottlenecks.
• Implement Lean, 5S, Kanban, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure compliance.
