Job summary

ManpowerGroup, Seymour, CT, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Leader to oversee manufacturing and technical operations in a high‑mix EMS environment. You will lead strategic initiatives, drive SQDCP metrics, and partner with engineering on manufacturability and new product introductions.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, lean practices, and optimizing capacity and equipment effectiveness to maximize throughput in a dynamic EMS setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field.
• 8–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership in EMS.
• Deep understanding of high‑mix EMS, including SMT, through-hole, test, and box build.
• Experience with production planning systems, capacity modeling, and ERP/MRP tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management for team development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership across manufacturing and technical operations.
• Drive SQDCP metrics to optimize processes and asset utilization.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.
• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturability and NPI.
• Oversee production planning, capacity modeling, and equipment effectiveness.
