Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–7 years SMT process engineering experience in EMS/PCBA environments.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards and cleanliness practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SMT line design, including solder paste printing, placement, reflow, SPI, AOI, and X-ray.
• Own process capability analysis, first-pass yield tracking, and defect reduction using Lean Six Sigma.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with operations, quality, and maintenance.
• Drive NPI readiness, DFM reviews, and customer technical engagement.
