Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Engineering Manager to lead a high-mix EMS/PCBA operation. You will oversee Technical Engineering, documentation control, and SMT programming, ensuring data readiness from client designs to shop-floor execution.

You will manage a team, drive process improvements, and ensure BOM validation, CAD/Gerber data handling, and SMT programming across FUJI NXT III platforms to optimize production yields.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in EMS, technical documentation, SMT programming, or manufacturing engineering.
• Supervisory or technical team leadership experience.
• Experience in high-mix PCBA production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Engineering, Document Control, and SMT Programming teams.
• Ensure BOMs, CAD/ centroid coordinates, Gerber layers, SMT recipes, and routing structures are accurate and released on time.
• Oversee data intake, conversion, validation, and release of customer data packages.
• Develop and implement automation via VBA tools and Excel templates.
• Monitor KPIs such as program lead-time, programming accuracy, and first-pass placement yield.
