Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager for an EMS/PCBA facility in Seymour, CT. Lead all plant manufacturing, engineering, and technical operations in a high‑mix, low‑to‑medium volume environment, driving SQDCP performance and lean deployment.

You will supervise SMT and through‑hole lines, manage master schedules in ERP/MRP, champion continuous improvement, and ensure ISO 9001/13485/ITAR compliance while delivering on cost, quality, and on‑time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required.
• 8–10 years of EMS/PCBA operations leadership experience.
• Experience in regulated sectors and lean deployment.
• Strong knowledge of SMT and PTH processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and master scheduling using ERP/MRP systems.
• Drive OEE improvement through SMED and capacity modeling.
• Deploy Lean tools (VSM, 5S, Kaizen) on the floor.
• Oversee NPI with DFM/DFT alignment and cost baselines.
• Ensure ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / ITAR compliance.
• Develop frontline leadership and tiered management review.
