Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Meaningful employment-law litigation experience.
• Class action experience required.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Hands-on experience with discovery and substantive motion practice.
• Deposition and courtroom experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation matters in Washington state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other substantive legal briefs.
• Manage written discovery, document production, and case investigation.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop litigation strategy in coordination with partners and clients.
• Prepare witnesses, experts, and matters for trial.
• Advise clients regarding litigation risk and case strategy.
• Communicate directly with clients throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's employment practice.
