Job summary

Telecare Corporation seeks an experienced Employment Counsel to guide labor and employment matters across the organization. You will partner with HR, finance, risk, benefits, and leadership to minimize risk, oversee settlements, and supervise legal staff.

Requires a J.D. and California Bar, with 5–7 years in employment law, including in-house experience. The role reports to the General Counsel and supports compliance and strategic business initiatives.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• California Bar Admission in good standing.
• 5-7 years of employment law experience, including in-house work.
• Advising clients, trainings, handling significant employment litigation.
• Supervising attorneys and legal staff; experience with agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day labor and employment advice across the organization.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and respond to agency actions and complaints.
• Supervise external counsel and internal attorneys; manage contracts reviews.
• Partner with HR, finance, risk, benefits, and leadership to mitigate risks.
