Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school with strong credentials.
• California Bar Admission in good standing required.
• 5–7 years of employment law experience, in-house preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and related labor laws and regs.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel across labor and employment matters on a day-to-day basis.
• Lead settlement negotiations and respond to agency actions and complaints.
• Oversee external counsel and supervise other attorneys and staff.
• Partner with HR, risk, benefits and leadership to mitigate risks.
