Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans LLC in South Carolina seeks an experienced HR People Consultant to act as a strategic partner and advisor on People & Tech policies, organizational design, and talent development. The role drives compliance, workforce planning, and organizational change.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of HR experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and analytical skills to influence leaders and collaborate with global teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience including partnering and employee relations.
• Knowledge across compensation, benefits, talent management and HRIS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on employee relations issues, including discipline and performance management.
• Translate workforce trends into strategies and leadership actions.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives and communications.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, ISO standards, and internal policies.
• Coach managers on talent strategy, succession, and leadership development.
• Prepare reports and support audits related to People & Tech programs.
