Job summary

Levy Restaurants in Chicago is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to lead investigations, advise leaders, and drive compliant HR practices across multi-state operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 5+ years in HR/ER, knowledge of FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, and ADA, and strong communication; travel approximately 5–10%. This is an excellent opportunity within a renowned hospitality company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years HR or Employee Relations experience.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws including FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 5–10%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct employee relations investigations.
• Partner with HR and operational leaders to resolve workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance on employment policies and procedures.
• Support the SpeakUp (employee hotline) reporting process and case resolution.
• Monitor investigation trends and recommend proactive solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the HR Case Management system.
• Develop and facilitate Employee Relations training.
• Partner with Legal, Labor Relations, Security, and Risk Management on complex investigations.
• Support audits of employee relations data.
• Promote consistent application of company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
