Job summary

CLEAR is hiring an Employee Relations Lead to serve as the centralized ER partner across the business. You will investigate, resolve, and coach leaders on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance.

You will support hourly teams, manage LOA and accommodations with our Leave Administrators, and help reduce risk through data-driven insights. This role is based at our NYC HQ with a 5-days-in-office expectation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR and Employee Relations experience.
• Ability to support hourly/frontline teams and handle complex ER matters.
• Strong coaching skills with business leaders and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Own employee and labor relations across CLEAR’s business; conduct investigations with fairness and defensibility.
• Lead investigations into employee complaints, misconduct, policy violations and related ER matters.
• Coach leaders on corrective action, policy interpretation and consistent employment practices.
• Manage consistency in workers’ compensation, LOA, and accommodation cases with Leave Administrators and Legal.
• Support unemployment claims by reviewing separation contexts and timely responses.
• Identify ER trends across cases and partner with People leadership for proactive solutions.
• Partner with People, Legal and Operations on process improvements to apply ER practices consistently.
• Maintain confidential case documentation and ensure ER decisions comply with policies and laws.
