Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in the United States is seeking an individual contributor to conduct moderately complex to complex EEO and HR investigations, support reporting of employee information, and provide employee relations training with supervision from senior staff.

The role includes consulting with business line stakeholders on HR policies and procedures, laws, and regulations, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering insights to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Practices self-development and helps others by sharing information, advice and expertise; builds relationships with cross-functional stakeholders; influences others with clear explanations; adapts to changing responsibilities; solicits feedback and implements improvements; supports team collaboration.
• Completes work assignments and supports business priorities by developing work plans, ensuring procedures are followed, coordinating resources, collaborating cross-functionally to make decisions, solving problems, and escalating risks as needed.
• Conducts moderately complex to complex EEO and other HR investigations by collecting and analyzing data, interviewing, documenting findings, recommending actions, and supporting corrective action plans.
• Supports and conducts reporting of employee information by collecting data, analyzing reports, and contributing to database tool development for tracking cases and status; identifies needs for new templates.
• Conducts employee relations training and assistance under supervision by advising on policies, assessing training needs, and helping develop and deliver formal education and training.
• Monitors regulatory changes, analyzes impacts, reports non-compliance, raises issues, and supports updates and implementation of changes.
• Provides consulting to business lines on HR policies, processes, laws and regulations by advising on documentation, researching concerns, coordinating resolutions, interpreting policies, and guiding managers on management and terminations, in liaison with Legal.
