Job summary

LG Electronics North America is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead employee relations for key U.S. units. You will manage investigations, coach leaders, and own compliance across HR practices in a multi-location environment.

The role requires 10+ years in HR with 5+ years in employee relations, strong employment-law knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed. On-site work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HR, with 5+ years in employee relations and investigations.
• Proven track record reducing incidents and improving manager performance.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and reporting abilities.
• Deep knowledge of employment law, policy interpretation and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication across formats; credibility with senior leaders.
• Willingness to travel; able to work on-site five days/week in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead HR partner for employee relations intake, triage, investigation, and documentation.
• Resolve complex issues in alignment with values and legal compliance.
• Conduct impartial workplace investigations and produce actionable reports.
• Partner with Legal, Internal Audit, Compliance on high-risk matters.
• Coach leaders on performance, discipline, restructuring and terminations.
• Develop and deliver manager training on coaching and anti-harassment.
• Monitor analytics and KPIs with Centers of Excellence for core programs.
• Contribute to organizational culture and engagement initiatives.
