Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport in Davenport, Florida is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to support employee experience services, onboarding, regulatory compliance, and HR projects at the local level.

You will coordinate administrative support with strong customer service, lead engagement and recognition initiatives, assist with policy research, and partner with managers on interviews, orientation, and workforce planning within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) [Required]
• Working knowledge of or aptitude to learn human resources disciplines applicable for assigned duties [Required]
• Professional, excellent oral and written communication skills [Required]

Responsibilities

• Facilitates employee experience services, including onboarding, regulatory compliance, and key human resources projects.
• Coordinates office administrative support with excellent customer service skills, promoting the human resources operating model.
• Leads human resources programs and initiatives at a local level, such as employee engagement and recognition events, and new hire orientation.
• Assists with research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues.
• Oversees the employee badge administration process, ensuring compliance.
• Partners with related departments in workforce planning and organizational design meetings, conducting initial consultations and managing follow-up activities.
• Supports hiring managers with interview preparation and serves as a liaison for candidate and new hire experience components.
• Tracks compliance with performance management processes and manages separation of work processes, including exit interviews.
• Supports special compensation programs, employee wellness program administration, and tuition reimbursement programs.
• Manages and supports employee events, projects, and communication, including service awards programs, job fairs, and open enrollment events.
• Consults and supports managers on human resources compliance and regulatory requirements, participating in policy recommendation and revision.
• Serves as a change agent for operating model and strategic initiatives, acting as a super user for human resources technology systems and processes.
