Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an Employee Benefits Analyst IV to independently analyze information and create financial deliverables for large, self-funded client programs. You will handle renewal projections, claims utilization analysis, and multi-year financial reviews to support client decisions.

The role requires strong analytical ability, extensive Excel use, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly in executive summaries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employee benefits brokerage experience required.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state Life & Disability license.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analytics for self-funded clients (typical >1,000 lives).
• Prepare customized analyses and renewal projections.
• Develop plan models and cost reduction opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact with carriers; negotiate quotes and renewals.
• Write client-facing executive summaries with observations and recommendations.
• Mentor analysts and support team training.
