Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an Employee Benefits Analyst IV to independently analyze information and create financial deliverables for large, self-funded client programs. You will handle complex analyses, develop cost models, and present Executive Summaries with actionable recommendations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with carriers, clients, and internal teams to ensure deliverables align with strategic objectives and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in employee benefits brokerage; underwriting experience with a carrier may be considered as an alternative.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• License or ability to obtain a Life & Disability insurance license.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analytics for self-funded clients with 1,000+ lives.
• Prepare customized analyses (market reviews, renewal rates, funding projections) and cost modeling.
• Develop alternative strategies and plan modeling to present to clients.
• Write client-facing Executive Summaries with observations and recommendations.
• Serve as primary contact with carriers for quotes, renewals, and market options.
• Collaborate with team to align deliverables with client objectives and support sales.
