Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector is hiring an EMI/EMC Engineer– Level 5 in Dulles, VA to lead design, analysis, and testing of E3 controls across programs. You will guide cross-functional teams to ensure EMI/EMC compliance from concept to delivery.

The role requires strong experience in RF/EMC, and an active Top Secret clearance, with responsibilities spanning model development, testing, and contributing to program reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or STEM with 12+ years of related experience; OR Master’s with 10+ years; OR PhD with 8+ years.
Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance at time of application.
Experience defining E3 requirements and flow-down for space systems.
Experience with MIL‑STD‑461, SMC-S-008, MIL‑STD‑464 and related standards.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME and technical authority for E3 controls across Space Systems Sector.
Lead EMI/EMC activities across the full program lifecycle.
Define E3 compliance architecture for space vehicles and subsystems.
Prepare and review EMI/EMC documents and test plans.
