Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector seeks an EMI/EMC Engineer – Level 6 to join our Specialty Engineering team in Dulles, VA. You will perform EMI/EMC design, analysis, test, and compliance verification from component to system level throughout the product lifecycle.
The role requires a TS clearance, experience with MIL‑STD standards, and leadership of E3 activities across programs. Travel up to 10% and relocation assistance may be available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or STEM with 14+ years experience; OR Master’s with 12+ years; OR PhD with 9+ years.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance at time of application.
- Ability to obtain SCI and SAP access as required.
- Experience defining E3 requirements and flow-down for space systems.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop EMI/EMC solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead EMI/EMC design, analysis, and testing across programs.
- Provide design guidance and act as technical authority on E3 controls.
- Develop E3 architecture for space vehicles and subsystems.
- Review EMI/EMC documents and conduct root-cause investigations.
