Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking an EMI/C Systems Engineer at Level 3 or Level 4 to lead EMI/C testing, design and qualification efforts across components and systems. The role requires active Top Secret clearance, STEM degree with 5+ years (or higher), and willingness to travel.

You will develop EMI/C test data, support design reviews, and ensure compliance with MIL-STD/DO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience OR
• Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of engineering experience OR
• PhD in a STEM discipline with 1+ year(s) of engineering experience
• Technical knowledge of product and systems EMI/C test qualification, engineering, evaluation, analyzing, and testing
• Candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance and SSBI with recent review; willingness to obtain SCI access

Responsibilities

• Reviews and tailors EMI/C test requirements for EMI/C compliance across products and systems
• Develops models for interference, shielding, and interface isolation to mitigate emissions
• Performs EMI/EMC testing, analysis, and troubleshooting from components to systems
• Designs test apparatus and methodologies related to EMI/C and RF testing
• Develops work instructions for mechanical and electromechanical systems, instruments and controls
• Processes EMI/C test data and prepares qualification procedures and reports
