Job summary

Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services to oversee the community's safety programs and frontline operations at our North Dallas, Texas location. You will lead gatehouse operations, patrols, access control, reporting, and staff development to ensure a secure, welcoming environment for residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Emergency Responder role.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of the community via gatehouse, patrols, access control, registration, key management and related programs.
• Monitor safety programs including safety inspections, responses to workplace accidents, hazard communication, respiratory mask fit testing and others as needed.
• Partner with SES Manager to update and maintain the Emergency Preparedness Plans.
• Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports and responses to calls for service.
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and counseling of employees.
• Establish schedules, review timesheets, and complete performance evaluations.
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports.
