Job summary

Emergency Physicians Monthly is seeking an experienced network operations engineer to deploy, configure, test, and troubleshoot emergency communications infrastructure across data centers and field sites in the NYC region.

You will provide technical support for E911, NG911, and Text-to-911, and maintain LAN/WAN, VoIP, and call routing. Travel and on-call after hours are required to ensure continuous service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data center or field technical support.
• 8+ years of LAN/WAN network support and troubleshooting.
• 8+ years of telecommunications routing, transport, and delivery (Wireline, Wireless, VoIP).
• Strong knowledge of networking hardware, cabling standards, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Experience with LEC circuit termination and turn-up.
• Willingness to travel within the NYC region and provide on-call or after-hours support when required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, test, and troubleshoot emergency communications network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for E911, NG911, and Text-to-911 systems.
• Support LAN/WAN networks, VoIP, telecommunications, and emergency call routing.
• Troubleshoot network and communication failures.
• Coordinate with vendors and telecommunications service providers.
• Support emergency communications infrastructure, cabling, and equipment installation.
