The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer/Scientist to support EMC design and analysis during satellite program phases in El Segundo, California. This role focuses on ensuring EMC/EMI compliance for unit and system levels across lifecycle stages.

The position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and extensive experience in EMI/EMC testing, MIL-STD-461, and leadership within aerospace EMC projects. Onsite work is mandatory at El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical) or related field.
8+ years of EMC/EMI testing/analysis/mitigation experience.
3+ years leading EMC engineering for aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

Interface with technical disciplines to trade EMC against survivability, cost, weight and risk in final design.
Derive unit and system EMC requirements and verification plans per MIL-STD-461.
Write EMC test plans/procedures and oversee testing and document results.
Interface with program office/customer to communicate EMC results and inquiries.
Present EMC content in design reviews for leadership.
