Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior EMI-EMC Engineer to lead EMI/EMC requirements for spaceflight hardware and ensure compliant design and testing across avionics. You will work with cross-functional teams to derive specifications, perform analyses, and support qualification activities for spacecraft systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in electrical engineering or related STEM field.
• 2+ years of EMI/EMC/Physics related experience.
• MS preferred in electrical engineering or physics.

Responsibilities

• Develop EMI-EMC requirements for spacecraft and components.
• Derive and distribute EMI in-space environmental requirements.
• Implement industry standards for Vast spacecraft and avionics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on EMI-EMC design & test.
• Analyze and measure avionics sub-circuits to improve EMI-EMC performance.
