Job summary

Oshkosh Defense is seeking a Sr. Systems Validation Engineer to design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases validating embedded vehicle control software across electric, hybrid, and ICE platforms.

You will support V&V activities to ensure reliability, safety, and performance. The role focuses on test design, SI/LH testing, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with engineering teams to improve verification coverage and toolchains.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in validation/verification for embedded or automotive systems.
• Experience with embedded vehicle control software testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded vehicle systems.
• Translate requirements into structured test scenarios and procedures.
• Develop test plans and drive timely test execution to meet program targets.
• Create and maintain test scripts for SIL/HIL testing environments.
• Apply model-based testing using MATLAB/Simulink, TestStand, and dSpace tools.
