Job summary

Qualifications

Accredited bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
3+ years in software systems engineering, embedded software, or similar.
Experience developing software requirements and architecture.
Experience with multidisciplinary teams in product development.
Ability to communicate technically through docs and presentations.

Responsibilities

Develop and release software architecture and requirements specifications.
Decompose customer and regulatory needs into software requirements and interfaces.
Maintain software architecture models for components, interfaces, and data flows.
Perform architectural trade studies considering cost, safety, and maintainability.
Define standard interfaces between vehicle controllers, sensors, displays, and external systems.
Participate in design reviews and capture risks and actions.
Support safety analyses (Hazard Analysis, FMEA, FTA) and cybersecurity considerations.
Collaborate with systems, controls, safety, and supplier teams across lifecycle.
