Job summary

Oshkosh Defense, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Sr. Systems Validation Engineer to design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded vehicle systems across electric, hybrid, and internal combustion platforms.

You will verify CAN/LIN/Ethernet communications, build test automation frameworks for CI/CD, maintain test plans and traceability, and collaborate with engineers to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of vehicle control software.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with five (5) or more years of related experience.
• Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Experience with embedded/automotive software testing and V&V for vehicle control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded vehicle control software.
• Validate CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communications; log and triage defects.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD-integrated test automation and HIL/SIL workflows.
• Create and manage test plans and traceability per Oshkosh quality standards.
