Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. You will translate customer and product requirements into total systems solutions across electro-hydraulic controls, hybrid/EVs, autonomous systems, and connected vehicle tech.

You'll collaborate across disciplines to define architecture, perform trade studies, develop CONOPS, and support verification and validation planning to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience.
• Familiarity with tools such as MagicDraw, Jama, DOORS, CodeBeamer or similar.
• Experience with larger OEM process and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and release requirements specification documents, including defining the requirements and verification baseline.
• Lead the creation of user need requirements and decomposition of those requirements to system and subsystem requirements.
• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system trades and analysis, flow down the architecture and CONOPS into requirements and interfaces, and support verification planning.
