Job summary

Oshkosh Defense in New Hudson, MI is seeking a Sr. Systems Validation Engineer to design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases validating embedded vehicle systems software across electric, hybrid and ICE platforms.

You will drive V&V activities, create test plans, work with CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks, and contribute to CI/CD, SIL/HIL, and test automation using MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace and Jama.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of related experience.
• Master's degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering preferred.
• Experience with ICE/EV/HEV software testing and vehicle networks.
• Familiarity with HIL/SIL environments (dSPACE, ETAS, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded vehicle control software.
• Verify CAN/LIN/Ethernet communications and perform defect triage with developers.
• Develop test plans and scripts for SIL/HIL testing and CI/CD integration.
• Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards and ensure traceability.
