Milwaukee Tool is seeking a principal embedded systems engineer to lead design and testing of embedded systems and drive the technical direction across hardware, firmware, and reliability teams. Brookfield, WI-based role focusing on disruptive technologies in power electronics, firmware, and embedded solutions.

You will define concepts, schematics, test plans, and roadmaps, mentor engineers, own project schedules, and communicate risks to senior leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of embedded systems experience.
• 3+ years of leading, project managing, or mentoring a team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and testing of embedded systems and identify trends.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, product development, and reliability teams.
• Develop concepts, schematics, test plans, and test cases for new products.
• Own schedules, roadmaps, and resource plans; manage project metrics.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.
