Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the design and testing of embedded systems for PPE products. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, product development, and reliability teams to deliver robust electronics solutions.

Responsibilities include leading design, test plan development, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring regulatory compliance. A strong background in C, power electronics, and sensor integration is required, with travel up to 10% expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in related design field with embedded electronics.
• Expertise in C programming and microcontroller peripherals.
• Power electronics and sensor integration experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, prototype, test and troubleshoot embedded electronics hardware and firmware.
• Develop test plans and procedures for new product embedded systems.
• Provide clear communications on progress, barriers and risks.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow a small team.
• Design to regulatory standards (UL, CEC, CE, ANSI).
• Operate lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, data acquisition systems.
