Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the design and testing of embedded systems for PPE products. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, product development, and reliability teams to drive breakthroughs in electronics and power systems.

The role requires a strong background in C programming, firmware architecture, and power electronics, with a focus on sensor integration and signal integrity.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years in design.
• Strong C programming and firmware experience.
• Power electronics circuit design and control knowledge.
• Experience with sensor selection and validation.
• Ability to read schematics and relate firmware to hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, prototype, test and troubleshooting of embedded electronics and firmware for mid to high complexity projects.
• Develop test plans, procedures and cases for new embedded systems.
• Communicate status, risks and milestones across teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and potentially lead a small team.
• Work with lab equipment and ensure adherence to schedules and processes.
