Job summary

General Motors LLC seeks a Senior Engineer to own software integration and system-level verification for the MCU1 platform on the CCU AV Extension Board. You will integrate MCU1 software with the CCU compute platform, Thor SoCs, and safety and diagnostics features, driving evidence for release readiness.

You will read requirements, develop test cases, and perform bench, HIL, and vehicle tests, coordinating with software, hardware, and program teams to ensure robust system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS or related field.
• 5+ years in embedded software integration, system verification, or automotive test engineering.
• Hands-on testing of embedded systems with microcontrollers, SoCs, sensors, networking, or safety features.
• Ability to read software requirements and interface specifications.
• Experience with structured test cases, logs, traces, and diagnostic data.

Responsibilities

• Own software integration and system-level verification for the MCU1 platform on the CCU AV Extension Board.
• Convert requirements into repeatable bench, hardware-in-the-loop, and system test evidence for releases.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, safety, diagnostics and release teams to drive issues to closure.
