Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of relevant professional experience, or Master's with 10 years, or PhD with 7 years.
• Advanced programming proficiency with C/C++, Python.
• Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and avionics integration/test practices.
• Understanding of Stellar or CFS and demonstrable Linux usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software modules and device drivers (UART, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceWire) to meet system requirements.
• Define flight-software requirements, testing, and verification plans with cross-functional teams.
• Create and integrate Board Support Packages and device drivers for hardware platforms.
• Conduct trade studies via simulations and hardware tests to optimize performance.
• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate spacecraft components and flight software with simulation platforms.
