Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Rolling Meadows, IL, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to full-cycle software development for defense electronics and safety-critical real-time systems.

You will analyze requirements, design and implement software in C/C++, test and verify, and collaborate across hardware and software teams to customize solutions for customers. The role is 100% onsite with a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of related experience OR Master’s degree
• Experience developing software in C/C++
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Perl, Unix/Linux shell)
• Experience with hands-on lab testing of electronic equipment
• Knowledge of digital signal processing concepts
