Northrop Grumman is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate software for defense systems. You will work within a team applying MBSE, DevSecOps, and Agile practices to deliver critical national security products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming in C/C++, familiarity with Java a plus
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Batch)
• Experience Developing Embedded Software running Linux or VxWorks RTOS
• Familiarity with Software architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipeline development (DevOps) and Agile
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, ClearCase) and Agile tools (Rally, Jira)
• Familiarity with Modeling Tools (CAMEO, Rational)
• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software and firmware components
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC
• Apply MBSE, DevSecOps, and Agile practices to deliver defense products
• Support on-site engineering activities at Apopka, FL, and travel as needed
