Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Irvine-based Engineering Group. You’ll work on MAC and MANET routing, device drivers, networking services, encryption, and security features for cutting-edge radios and research projects.

This is a highly hands-on role requiring deep C and Linux expertise. 100% onsite at Irvine, CA, collaborating across hardware and software teams to deliver robust, secure solutions for mission-critical

Competenze

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer or Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant engineering field.
Minimum 5 years embedded software experience; 3 years with advanced STEM degree.
Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Background check and drug test required.

Mansioni

Implement software portion of MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
Network management software and web interface development.
Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
Audio streaming and push to talk voice application implementation.
Analyze and improve product security to meet NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP Common Criteria.
Implement testing software for product performance and reliability testing.
Device drivers and BSP development for ARM and RISC-V based systems.
Linux system customization and scripting.
Perform other related duties.
