Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks an Associate Director of Embedded Software Engineering in West Los Angeles, CA. The role leads a team on advanced MANET radios, device drivers, MAC protocols, and security features for cutting-edge R&D projects.

The position follows a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 onsite days weekly: Mon, Wed, Thu) and requires U.S. citizenship for government contracts. Strong leadership and C programming expertise are essential.

Formación

• Bs in Electrical Eng., CS or related field.
• 8+ years in embedded software development.
• Experience leading a team of engineers.
• Strong C programming skills.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of engineers on Silvus’ MANET radios and R&D projects.
• Develop device drivers and BSPs and networking components.
• Implement security features and cryptographic algorithms.
• Ensure regulatory and customer support, and engage with stakeholders.
