Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join the COMSEC team. You will develop and maintain embedded software for secure communications, collaborating with FPGA designers and driving the entire software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

The role requires a BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering or CS with 8+ years in embedded development, strong C/C++, RTOS, and hardware interfaces such as SPI/I2C/UART and PCIe. A focus on Zero Trust security is preferred.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, integrate and test embedded software for COMSEC systems.
• Strong experience with C/C++, RTOS, and hardware interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART/PCIe).
• Experience with FPGA interfaces and register-level hardware integration.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and secure boot concepts.
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for COMSEC systems.
• Collaborate with FPGA designers to ensure hardware/software integration.
• Drive the software lifecycle from requirements through deployment and verification.
