Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Sr Principal Software Engineer - Development to join on site in San Diego, CA or Grand Forks, ND with a partial hybrid schedule. You will contribute to the full SW lifecycle for flight/mission-critical systems, using C/C++, Python, and RTOS in an embedded environment.

The role requires a STEM degree with extensive related experience and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience across full SDLC and real-time embedded SW development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for flight/mission critical systems.
• Experience with Agile SW development and embedded systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to full SW development lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Work in Agile Scrum teams on multiple baselines for embedded SW.
• Develop multi-threaded C++ software for real-time operating systems.
• Participate in software architecture, design, integration and debugging.
