Job summary

Amazon Leo Payload is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help design, implement, test, and deploy software for the Leo satellite payloads. You will contribute to telemetry, mode management, power control, and autonomous capabilities across the satellite lifecycle.

Collaborating with hardware teams, you will participate in all software phases from requirements to production, with opportunities to grow breadth and depth in AWS technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• Experience with C/C++ and Rust is a plus.
• Embedded experience not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Own unique software functions through design, implementation (in C, C++, Rust or other AWS technologies), test, and integration in Prod environment.
• Work closely with hardware teams for setup and verification, as well as integration and testing.
• Work on the Satellite Communication Systems Payload, Standard SDE position; embedded experience not required.
