Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Lynnwood, WA to lead architecture, implementation, integration, and verification of advanced sensing technologies for aerospace applications.

You will drive software design in C/C++, support DO‑178C certification, collaborate across systems, hardware, and test teams, and mentor junior engineers while improving engineering practices and processes.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of embedded software development in real‑time or safety‑critical environments.
• BA/BS in Software Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded software in C/C++ for SPS sensing products.
• Implement firmware for signal conditioning, sensor calibration, filtering, and data acquisition.
