Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead architecture, implementation, and verification of safety‑critical embedded software for SPS sensing products. You will collaborate across Systems, Hardware, Test, Quality and Manufacturing to ensure robust, certifiable solutions.
You will mentor junior engineers, drive process improvements, and contribute to the certification efforts in a dynamic aerospace environment.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years in embedded software for real-time or safety-critical systems.
- Strong C/C++ expertise for embedded platforms.
- Experience with DO-178C and safety-critical certifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead software architecture, implementation, integration and verification for SPS sensing products.
- Support certification activities and DO-178C documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive process improvements across IPTs.
