Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Principal or Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineers in San Diego, CA to design, develop and test embedded software for Link-16 and Tactical Datalink workloads.

The role requires a strong background in C/C++, real-time systems, and integration with multi-disciplinary teams. A Secret clearance is required; on-site work at Rancho Carmel, relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or another STEM discipline with related experience; or Master's with relevant experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Object Oriented programming.
• Experience with embedded real-time multi-threaded software and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with low-level firmware/software integration in complex RT embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test embedded software for Link-16 and Tactical Datalink projects.
• Collaborate with Systems, Digital, Hardware, and I&T teams in an Agile environment.
• Analyze requirements and resolve issues across the software lifecycle.
