Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Sr Principal Embedded & Real Time Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate and test embedded software for flight and mission-critical systems.

Work with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile SW environment, with top-secret clearance and on-site options in San Diego or Palmdale, CA. Qualifications include a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience or advanced degrees, strong SDLC experience, and proficiency in C/C++/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years of related engineering experience, or advanced degrees.
• Experience with full SDLC and C/C++/Python in embedded RT systems.
• Experience with real-time OS such as VxWorks, Integrity, or RT Embedded Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded RT software for flight and mission-critical systems.
• Contribute to architecture, design, implementation, integration, and debugging in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware designers, and test engineers to deliver complex software.
